First of all, I hope you all had an amazing year. I think it’s so crazy that we make all these plans and then life never really goes as planned. That’s what makes this thing so beautiful though, I think we all have our destiny and our path and you just have to walk yours everyday and have faith that everything is working for your greater good.
It is so refreshing to be starting a new year, it’s like a new beginning. Another opportunity to do things bigger and better than the year before. 2018 was all about growth for me, Learning to put myself first and strengthening my faith and belief. 2019 is all about putting my big girl panties on and getting to work! Focus & Execution 🙌🏾 My “word” for the year is 100% . I know it’s not a word but that’s my mood. I am putting 100% into everything that I do, down to the smallest task. I’ve seen what separates good from great and it’s effort and consistency. This year I will master them both.
I’ve pretty much adjusted to New York, it smacks you in your face almost everyday. it’s hard, inspiring, exciting, and ruthless. New York has taught me that people will walk over you if you let them, you have to ask for what you want and people are just people. The people have been the best part for me. Realizing that everyone adds their own little flavor to the city and we are so unique as individuals is relieving. There is no other person like you and that’s insane.
I commend anybody who is going after their dreams. It’s not easy, to believe in the unseen, to work your face off for something that may take YEARS to accomplish. There’s a certain level of commitment that is required and should be celebrated. You aren’t where you want to be yet but you are on your way while most have not even started.
